The Sutherland Longhouse started in December 2019 and was scheduled to finish with a weekend conference in April 2020. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic it wasn't completed until October 2020.
The projects was run by Museum staff and volunteers and was made possible by the award of a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
